I first started working with Coach Brian in October 2023, so it's been ~9 months now! I was originally interested in working with a personal trainer to help better my physical and mental health. I really wanted to start working towards getting my "dream body" and eating better, but staying consistent with both of those things is really challenging for me! I'd never consistently worked out in my life and not only did I not like going to the gym but I really didn't know what I was doing in the gym either lol. So, I decided to make an investment in myself and am so happy I did! For the first time ever I've consistently worked out 2-3+ times a week (which may not seem like a lot to some, but it is when you experience the workouts Brian programs for you!) and my dietary habits/water intake has significantly changed for the better. Not to mention all the physical changes I've noticed when looking in the mirror! It's been challenging to make adjustments to my usual lifestyle, but it has 1000% been worth it and I have Brian to thank for holding me accountable as well as motivating me each week to stay on top of my goals even when I didn't want to! He's truly such an amazing person overall and as a trainer, is so knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He's great at personalizing workouts to help you reach your specific goals, and encouraging you to push yourself to be better, get stronger, and stay consistent. These all beings things I really needed along the way, and so I'm really glad I found Coach Brian. I recommend him to all my friends and family who compliment me on my gains thus far, so I would absolutely recommend him to you if you're considering getting a trainer!

Why I was interested in working with a trainer is because I’ve always been the skinny guy with very little self confidence. After going through a lot of negative life changes/experience I decided it was time for change. Reservations that I had was that I wouldn’t be able to keep with what was getting thrown at me, that I wouldn’t be able to see the results I was looking for no matter how hard I worked due to my smaller frame, and that it would be expensive and I would quit. Working with Brian at project body has been such a game changer, words can hardly express how awesome my experience has been. Not only is Brian Ann awesome coach but has become a very near and dear friend. He only cares about my personal goals on fitness but genuinely care about the mental side, which goes hand and hand. My goal going in was to put on more weight, grow my chest, have bigger arms, and work on my gluts. These goals are starting to shine though and it’s a great start to a journey that has just begun. Not only am consistently maintaining the programs project body is providing, but I catch myself going above and beyond adding more weights, doing more sets, and PRing…Which is my favorite part. Besides the visible gains. Most helpful is the positive attitude with someone who genuinely cares. I was able to set my reservations aside when I realized I can keep up with programs, routines, and weights that are being presented to me. Not only am I seeing results but friends and family are recognizing results as well. As far as expense, it’s worth the money because it’s has helped mentally, emotionally, and physically… It’s a trifecta with the results. I most Definitely would recommend training with Brian at Project body. It’s a great way for somebody to work out and build confidence Without a bunch of eyes watching and judging. If you have questions, Brian always has the answers… And if he doesn’t, he will find out and get back to you. He always has your best intentions in mind and will push you as much as you allow him to, for the result you're shooting for.

Brian Ciccone, 39

I have been working with Project Body for 16 months. Any working out I had done in the past really centered on cardio and honestly thought weight training was a "meathead" activity. But I was feeling a bit disappointed in my physical body and wanted to both get healthier and try something new. I also hoped rather than just getting thinner I would start to develop a different body shape altogether. I had a few reservations including a lack of motivation but also a general disinterest in the type of workout. These were quickly elevated when I started working with Brian. Not only were workouts fun and something I enjoyed coming back too, I found them as mentally stimulating and they were physical. Understanding your body in new ways, challenging yourself week to week, and learning new techniques and exercises is more cerebral than I ever gave weight training credit for. So much of my enjoyment of this journey over the past few months is totally credited to Brian. He is part trainer, part cheerleader, part psychologist, part nutrition expert, and a trusted friend. Working with him empowered me to self motivate, care a bit more about myself, and most importantly become comfortable with reaching levels of failure. As someone who likes to be good at everything I do, working out to the point of failure has been a learning curve for me. Failure in Brian's gym is now a place of comfort and actually success. Pushing myself to my limit safely has become a point of pride in a work out, especially when trying to really outdo myself in past performances. It is not an over statement to say Brian has changed my life. The change in my body has lead to changes about how I feel about myself, in confidence and attitude. Something it's as simple as how my clothes fit differently that makes a serious change in everyday things. And while I have been given the skills to be independent in my work outs, Brian's encouragement and energy makes working out something I look forward to. He is constantly diversifying my work out, trying new things, and pushing me in ways I might not do if I were alone. His advice on nutrition and his support on off days checking in and making sure I'll be at the next scheduled workout really mean alot and keep me both on track and motivated. I don't want to miss a session with Brian. Yes, sometimes when he suggests adding 10 more pounds to any set we are working on, I want to say to him "you're crazy, I'm dying here!" But that's when I am most inclined to surprise myself with how much challenge I can take on in my work out. I would say project body is for everybody. You should surprise yourself and find out how good it feels.

I worked with Coach Brian for two years and highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their fitness. I previously had a personal trainer 10 years ago and wanted to brush up on my form. I was also having a hard time motivating myself and needed some accountability. Brian is extremely approachable, energetic and motivating. He helped me with my form, introduced me to new movements and gave me nutrition recommendations adjusted for my fitness goals. I always looked forward to my mornings with Brian. I’ve been very happy with the results and now I have the wisdom I needed to work out more effectively on my own.

TRANSFORMATION OF THE YEAR WINNER, 2023

I began working with Brian at the end of April in 2023 after a bad yearly physical in which my doctor expressed concerns about my blood pressure, high sugar (risk of diabetes) & overall lack of fitness. I work in a warehouse which requires physical activity & I was feeling beat up at the end of my days. My wife had great success working with Brian & encouraged me to give him a chance to help me. I have worked out on my own for years, keeping the weight off but it usually crept back on after an injury or lack of focus. I figured I knew what I was doing but I usually ended up out of commission with nagging injuries at some point which allowed the weight to return. Figuring I had nothing to lose, I met with Brian & he dug into what my history was & where I wanted to get to. We laid out a plan to drop my weight to a healthy range with the emphasis on not getting injured along the way. I have 2 kids that need taking care of & a physically demanding job so getting hurt is not an option! Brian laid out the week's workouts clearly & let me get to work. Working out in his amazing gym once a week & reviewing the week's work allowed him to adjust my training to get where I wanted to go. The weight & bodyfat numbers dropped each month & my energy increased. After working on my own for so long, having Brian shoot me a text after a workout was refreshing & he keeps me motivated throughout the week. He genuinely cares about how I'm doing & we celebrate the daily wins! After 8 months of training with Brian, I am down 30 pounds. While that may not sound like much, my body fat is down by over 12%! Almost all of my weight loss has been from body fat! Using the InBody stats every month has been enlightening for me, allowing us to tweak things to keep my muscle mass as I lose weight. My days at work are much easier, I have energy to do more every day. After seeing my numbers improve on a follow-up physical, my doctor was impressed & I gave Brian the credit for motivating me & most importantly not letting me get hurt. He keeps things simple for me in my hectic weeks & I can't think of a better reason to train with him than that. My success has been built one day at a time, one workout at a time & Brian has helped me every day. I highly recommend him to anyone & look forward to my own continued success working with him!

I have been training with Brian for about 6 months now. I reached out to Brian after trying a few online training programs and diets that ended up achieving nothing. The one thing that convinced me that Brian was the right trainer was that he did not pressure me into signing up like other trainers normally do. He gave me a few days to think about it and then reached out and we started training. In my opinion, one of Brian's greatest assets is his patience. He's not only a trainer but he's also a teacher. He took time to teach me how to correctly use equipment, achieve good posture and take diet seriously . The most amazing thing is that while he is very patient, he also holds me accountable, I have tried calling out a few times with some bs excuse and he would have none of it.lol. Brian is also a very good motivator, he's pushed me to do things that I thought were impossible, like training at 4:30am and then working a 14 hour day, I am also able to now comfortably do squats with free weights, I previously lacked the confidence to do a basic exercise like this one! I started with 2 classes and the results were so good that I ended up signing up for 3 classes a week. While he is my trainer, he sometimes doubles as my therapist coz there are days I go to train after a very rough day mentally and I always end up leaving the session feeling much better. I have lost 30lbs and I am in the best shape of my life thanks to this guy here. I would definitely highly recommend Brian as a trainer. He has definitely changed my life!

“I've been working with Project Body and Coach Brian since August ‘22. Prior to starting, I was really afraid of failure. I had broken my foot in 2020 and wasn't able to do my normal workouts for a few months. This paired with the Holiday season really did me in as far as weight gain. I would exercise and try to build routines again, but felt lost. I didn't know how it would work, and had convinced myself that nothing would work and it was just how it is in your mid-30's. My friend Allison invited me to a HIIT class this past summer in Slater Park, and after taking that class with Brian, I knew he was a person that I would want to work hard for have. I’ve had the BEST time working with Brian. He gives me exactly what I was looking for: direction in the gym, planned workouts and a challenging but supportive force. Friday mornings are my favorite time of the week because of training with Brian. I trust the process whole-heartedly and really love getting stronger and finally shedding that 20lbs I've been trying to lose for 2 years. My goal was to not only lose weight, but build muscle and definition, and it's really working. My favorite part is that Brian truly makes me feel like I can do anything and the individual attention he gives to each client is astounding. Of course seeing results are AMAZING and a really nice perk, but the confidence I've gained in myself and the friendship I've gained is probably my favorite part. Having a coach is key just in the sense that I feel so confident walking into the gym now. I know what I'm doing. I know how to properly use the equipment. I know where to start with proper weight amounts, etc. I've gained so much knowledge and confidence. 10/10 recommend training with Brian and Project Body. I'd happily refer anyone I know.”

“Coach Brian, where do i begin?! Brian is such an amazing and knowledgeable coach/trainer! I have been training with Brian for about three months now. What made me want to get a trainer and not go the traditional route of going to the gym on my own was the accountability and motivation aspect! Brian would motivate me each and every week to get my behind into that studio; and that's what I needed! I have always been self-conscious when it came to working out in front of others, but Brian is definitely the kind of trainer who makes sure that you feel comfortable the whole entire time you're with him. Brian pushes and motivates me each time I train with him, but he does so while making sure I am doing ok with each workout. My goal was to get toned, whist still loosing my body fat, and coach Brian has been able to help me accomplish that!! I would 1000% recommend coach Brain as a trainer! Always very accommodating with my schedule and just overall an easy going trainer! Not only did I get a trainer, but I also gained a friendship as well!!!”

“I have been working with Brian since late February 2022. I was interested in working with Brian since I worked out with him as a coach at OTF and was very excited for him to have his own business and was interesting in getting into more strength training. My goal working with Brian was to feel and get stronger and have someone else to guide me with both nutrition and movement. It has been great to be able to really track and see my progress working with Brian with both increased weights and setting PRs and the Inbody scan results. My favorite part is seeing the progress and having Brian to celebrate my wins with me. It’s been very helpful to have Brian to cheer me on, celebrate the wins and progress, hold me accountable, and check in on me. I would highly recommend Project Body and Coach Brian! Brian does a great job explaining and correcting form and giving feedback in the moment during training as well.”
